A year of audits,in one sheet

A free spreadsheet for planning a year of ISO audits: one row per audit, grouped into plans, with owners, dates and status. It’s the same file Orisynx imports.

Free, no sign-up. 12 columns, with an instructions sheet.

Four steps to a programme

  1. List every audit for the year

One row per audit: what it covers, which standard, what type and roughly when. Start with the processes and sites that carry the most risk.

  2. Group rows into plans

Rows that share a plan year and plan name become one audit plan. Use one plan for the whole programme, or one per standard or site.

  3. Set owners and dates

Add the email of the person who owns each audit and a target window. Leave the status as tentative until dates are agreed.

  4. Upload it, or keep it as your plan

The sheet works on its own as a planning document. In Orisynx, upload it and every row is checked before anything is created.

Template questions

Do I need Orisynx to use the template?

No. It is an ordinary spreadsheet that opens in Excel, Google Sheets or LibreOffice, and it works as a planning sheet on its own. It is also the exact format Orisynx imports.

What happens when I upload it to Orisynx?

Every row is validated before anything is created. If a cell needs fixing, Orisynx tells you the row and the column, so you can correct the file and upload it again.

How big can the file be?

Up to 1,000 rows and 5 MB per upload. Save older .xls files as .xlsx or .csv first; the legacy format is not accepted.

Why is there a CSV version?

Some teams keep their programme in other tools that export CSV. The CSV has the same columns, with the instructions as comment lines at the top.
